us around Lexington. We also visited the Shaker Village and Frankfort.
Henry Clay’s mansion, the old Capitol building, the new Capitol building,
and Daniel Boone’s gravesite. Penny bought a new watch, and I uploaded
some modern folk music onto my iPod. It was a welcome break, with
pleasant company and good friends, after several days of driving.
Bruce and Jim Kurz visited Henry Clay’s home, the old Kentucky Capitol building and the present day Capitol (below).
