July 4 Enroute to New York City

On Independence Day, we left Washington and headed up to New
York. The drive was easy because the traffic was light. We took I-95
through Baltimore and went to the New Jersey Turnpike via the Delaware
Memorial Bridge. The only remarkable thing that we saw was a group of
travelers on Gold Wing motorcycles. Each one had a large, colorful, stuffed
animal on the back of the bike as a mascot. We turned in the rental car at the
Newark Airport and took a car service into Manhattan.
